Who is my contract with?
Your contract is with Egypt Time Co. UK Ltd, which is the organising entity responsible for delivering the programme.
How is my booking confirmed?
Your participation is only confirmed when:
- A Programme Confirmation Notice is issued, andAll required conditions (e.g. minimum participants) are met
- Submitting an enrolment form or paying a deposit alone does not confirm your place.
Do I contract individually or through an Institution?
This depends on the Programme:
- Direct-to-Participant Programme: you contract individually
- Institutional Programme: the Institution may contract on your behalf
What is the payment structure?
Typically:
- 50% deposit at enrolment stage which is invoiced to your email address after you have submitted the enrolment form via the link provided in the Programme Schedules listed under Upcoming Events
- 50% balance after Programme Confirmation with all selected extras at enrolment stage
- Extras during programme may be invoiced separately if applicable
Who is responsible for payment?
- If you are contracting directly → you are responsible
- If an Institution is contracting → the Institution may be responsible
Following submission of the enrolment form, a secure payment link and payment instructions will be sent to your registered email address to complete the required
payment within the applicable deadline.
When do I receive my final Programme details?
- Upon receipt of full payment, participants will receive the official Programme Welcome Pack, which includes final programme information, arrival instructions, and operational details
Is my money protected?
Yes, where funds are paid to Egypt Time Co. UK Ltd:
- Ground services: Protected under Protected Trust Services (PTS)
- Flights (if included): Protected under ATOL
What does this mean for me?
- Your money is held in a segregated trust account
- Funds are only released under strict rules
- You are protected in case of insolvency
Important limitation:
If you pay funds directly to an Institution or third party, those funds may fall outside PTS protection unless transferred to Egypt Time Co. UK Ltd.
Are flights included?
Only where explicitly stated in your Programme Schedule.

- Airlines are responsible for flight operations
- Egypt Time Co. UK Ltd coordinates where flights are included
What happens if flights are delayed or cancelled?
Airline rules apply. Programme adjustments may occur where necessary.

Will Egypt Time Co. UK assist with visas?
Support may be provided when pre-arrival visa is required for your nationality, only where requested, but responsibility remains with you.

- Participants are strongly required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency assistance, repatriation, and participation in Programme
activities.
- Proof of insurance may be requested at the start of the Programme, including at the time of first hotel check-in.
- Participants who do not provide valid insurance details will be required to sign a Travel Insurance Waiver Form prior to participation.
- Participants travelling without insurance accept full personal responsibility for any medical, repatriation, or loss-related costs and may be restricted from participating in certain activities.

- On-site programme coordination and logistics
- Workshops, Activities, Panels etc. delivered in partnership with designated partner aligned with the Programme Schedule
- Delivery of workshops led by experienced international instructor(s), specified for each Programme Schedule or cohort
- Organised excursions and cultural visits as detailed in the Programme Schedule
- Certificate of Participation upon successful completion (where applicable)

• Accompany unknown individuals outside hotel or programme premises.
• Purchase services, tickets, excursions, or activities from unknown providers, including but not limited to animation or entertainment staff, street vendors, or unofficial tour providers.
• Use taxis, ride services, or public transportation alone without informing programme staff or receiving guidance.
• Visit private residences or homes of individuals.
• Leave the hotel premises late at night without informing programme coordinators.
• Consume alcohol alone or/and in unfamiliar environments outside programme venues.

You are expected to:- Remain within Programme-approved locations
- Inform coordinators before leaving programme areas
- Follow transport and movement guidance
- Use only approved providers and services
Risky behaviour includes (but not limited to):
- Engaging with unverified service providers
- Leaving accommodation without notice
- Participating in unsafe or unauthorised activities
- Violating local laws or cultural norms
- Causing disruption to group operations
What happens if rules are breached?
- You may be removed from activities or the Programme
- You may be required to return home
- Additional costs may be your responsibility
